INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT POLICY AND the GLOBAL ECONOMY

The Science & Research section's activity under this work focus relates to the global economic conditions of international development policy, of their relevance for developing countries as well as to the relevant institutions involved. This includes primarily the topics of international trade and the World Trade Organisation, public and private financial flows and debt, financial markets and the international financial institutions IMF and World Bank, as well as poverty reduction under the PRSP initiative.



Key topics 2011/2012:

  • EU finance market and investment regime – reforms and development

  • International trade, global production networks and development

  • Commodities and development
