Responsible for editorial contributions and blogs on ÖFSE research results, the website section "Research" and ÖFSE's Twitter presence.

Hannes Grohs is a social scientist with research interests in global value chains and production networks, industrial policy, and development economics and policy. He has been working at ÖFSE since January 2017. He holds a Master's degree in Development Studies (University of Vienna). In his master thesis "Critical Realism, Critical Political Economy and the critical potential of commodity chain research" he dealt with the reconciliation of the spheres of philosophy of science, social theory and social science using the example of commodity chain research. He has been working as a research staff member at ÖFSE since January 2017 and since September 2021 has also been responsible for the science communication agendas.
