Webinar-Series: Skill up, stay ahead: TVET for employability
by UNESCO UNEVOC and BIBB in cooperation with ÖFSE
BILT Learning Labs offer TVET stakeholders an opportunity to explore innovative and practical learning approaches from around the world. This Learning Lab takes the form of a four-part webinar series running from 30 September to 21 October 2025, focusing on concrete ways to strengthen the quality of TVET and align it more closely with labour market needs.
In today’s fast-changing labour market, TVET is key to boosting employability. Technological change, shifting industry demands and climate goals require a workforce that can adapt quickly to new roles and skills.
The webinar series “Skill up, stay ahead” showcases practical and relevant approaches from work-based learning and career guidance to industry partnerships, that strengthen TVET’s quality and relevance. By connecting stakeholders from government, industry, academia and training institutions, it aims to spark collaboration and innovation for a more resilient and adaptable global workforce.
Each session highlights innovative practices from Latin America and the Caribbean, paired with examples from Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and Europe. The conversational format is designed to generate new ideas and identify opportunities for cross-regional collaboration.
Live interpretation will be available in Spanish and Portuguese.
